Wireless Mic Rental FAQ

  • We rent a number of wireless mics that are all top-of-the-line in the industry.

    We do rent mics that have FM transmitters and we only provide frequencies in the accepted ranges.

    You can also rent a wireless microphone in digital frequencies like 2.4 and 5Ghz. To make sure you get the right technology for your rental let us know about your venue and event type.

  • Wireless mics are typically for speaking and singing. You wouldn’t normally use these for something like a kick drum microphone. We do have a number of brands and types of mics, but our primary brand is Sennheiser. (G3 wireless, G4). These mics are typically superior to brands like electro voice and shure (even shure beta mics) in these kinds of applications.

  • Yes we do, we have a number of styles, let us know what you need and we will match you up with the right one.

    Wireless mics use an FM transmitter to send a signal from the body pack or mic itself to the receiver that is located either on the stag, back stage or at the sound booth if there is one. A wireless microphone also has different frequencies that it transmits on and these need to be synced when used. We make sure to test each mic before it goes out on the rental, however, when you get to your venue it is best practise to do a channel sweep just to see if there is any interference. If someone else is using a wireless mic like an electro voice or Shure or Sennheiser this could cause interference.
